These eco friendly trees are a very specific strain of the Paulownia family. “Possibly the worlds most perfect tree!”, said the Farmer’s Almanac. And they were so right! The Empress tree is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest growing tree in the world. Once planted, this tree will grow up to 20 feet in the first year, and up to 85 feet in 10 years. I know that sounds too good to be true, but you can almost watch them grow.
